Terms of Service

Who we are

StoryVouch (https://storyvouch.com) is run by Kevel Idea, Inc., 2727 Stingle Avenue, #8, Rosemead, CA 91770 ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and us. By using StoryVouch you agree to them.

The service

StoryVouch helps a school turn its graduates into referrers. People record a short video story, share a personal link, and friends who open the link can ask for information. Each request becomes a lead that we send to the school's CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Twenty or a webhook).

There are two kinds of people who use StoryVouch: schools that sign up as clients, and the referrers and friends who use a client's page. If you use a client's page, that school decides what to do with your information (see our Privacy Policy).

We may change, pause or stop features. Pages under /demo are labelled concept demos; they do not store personal data and do not send leads anywhere.

For schools (clients)

You are responsible for your own program: the reward you offer referrers, paying that reward, and the offers made on your page. You promise that you may contact the people whose details you receive and that you will follow the laws that apply to your marketing, including email and text rules.

You choose where your leads are sent. You are responsible for keeping that CRM connection working and for the access keys you give us. If a lead cannot be delivered we keep a copy so it is not lost.

Prices, what counts as a qualified lead, and what you are not charged for are on our pricing page. Billing details are in our Billing & lead credits policy.

For referrers and friends

You keep ownership of the video and details you give. You allow us, and the school whose page you use, to store, copy, play and share your video and details as needed to run that school's referral program, including showing your video to the friends you share your link with.

Only record or upload things you have the right to use. Do not include anyone else's private information without permission, and nothing illegal, hateful, deceptive or that infringes someone's rights. Tell the truth about your own experience; do not make up claims.

Rewards, if any, come from the school, not from StoryVouch. Ask the school about its reward terms.

Staff sign-in

School admins sign in to the admin area with a code texted to their phone. There is no password. Keep your phone secure; anyone who can read your texts can sign in as you.

Fair use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, get around limits or payments, scrape it, submit fake or purchased leads, or use it to send spam. We may suspend accounts or remove content that breaks these rules.

No guarantees

StoryVouch is provided "as is". We work hard to get things right, but the service may sometimes be unavailable or contain mistakes, and we cannot promise any number of leads, students or enrollments. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Kevel Idea, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters, we will say so on the site or by email before it takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. If we have a dispute, please contact us first; most problems can be fixed quickly.
